How do I arrange a fire safety inspection, demonstration or tour?

Call 303-648-3000 and leave your name, phone number, and a  brief description of your needs or email Mike Harrower at FireMarshal@elbertfire.com.

How do I become a volunteer?

Print and fax your application to 303-648-3650 or bring it with you to the next members meeting held at 19:00 hours the first Tuesday of every month at Elbert Station.  For more information click here.  Email Assistant Chief Brandon Homer for any questions you may have.

Do I need a permit to burn trash in my yard or for a campfire?

Yes.  Call 303-648-3000 and leave your name, phone number, and the desired date of the burn or email the information to Mike Harrower at FireMarshal@elbertfire.com.  You will be contacted to schedule an inspection of the burn site.  For more information see Burn Permits.  You may be fined for unauthorized burns.
